If you’re like me and like to get your shopping done in one place, quick and easy, Amazon is the place to do it. Decorating a home is a curated process for everyone to do, and it doesn’t need to be overwhelming. I love shopping on Amazon because it is easy to use, and they have everything from picture frames to your dream sofa. Seriously, you can find essentials for every room in your house, big or small. Here are some of my favorite Amazon home finds that are worthy enough to be considered on HGTV.
Starting off strong, I absolutely adore all of these pieces from Amazon because they have character and warmth that reminds me of an upscale California beach house. This weaving area rug is fantastic for hallways, bathrooms, or the kitchen. The details on the end of it add dimension, unlike standard square area rugs. This rattan tissue container and bar stool chair are pretty standard pieces in a home, but their design speaks volumes. Also, everyone needs a miscellaneous bowl in their home to keep loose change, keys, recipes, etc… and I love the bamboo handles on this party bowl that keeps with that beach house theme. This white marble tray and lamp are perfect for keeping a more chic look! The wall art in the back is a great touch of outdoors; adding some form of greenery always makes a room look complete.
All of these pieces are great for dressing up a room in your home with just the right amount of detail to make your heart happy. This bedframe is stunning yet very simple; the white is great for offsetting bedding and creating a clean look. The picture frames and woven basket can be placed just about anywhere, but I would put them in a living room to display family photos and maybe store blankets such as the knit throw one above. For the kitchen, the mixing bowl and white marble chains look great together on top of your countertops or kitchen island for display. I also think the round pedestal table could be a 5-star hotel-worthy breakfast nook with another piece of plant-inspired wall art displayed above it, probably be my favorite spot in the house.
I don’t know if you have caught onto my theme yet, but I think it is safe to say I love everything and anything rattan with a hint of California dream. I mean, all of these pieces look amazing together with the wingback armchair and white oak end table with the picture frame on top; I could sit there all day. Especially if you have a neutral tone in your home already established, colorful throw pillows with different patterns add dimension and flow, and this lamp looks good everywhere. Another subtle color pop from these ceramic bowls looks great against a light wood finish or in your china cabinet. Personally, when I’m feeling fancy, I would leave them on my dining table with the marble tri-pot set as a simple centerpiece.
I know my theme is telling but tell me these pieces aren’t something worthy of displaying in your home. They’re just too good, and I have to admit Amazon has good taste when it comes to its’ home finds. The bar stools do work with the beach theme, but I also think they work for off-setting darker color schemes to balance out a space. Blue is a subtle way to add color to a home, such as these throw pillows and bowl sets, because it always looks great on accent pieces paired against solid-colored furniture. In the corners of your kitchen, adding some pieces that still show off your design skills, like these display jars or matches holder, is great.
We have pretty much nailed the dreamy light and aromatic aesthetic, but this one is just as beautiful if cooler tones are more your vibe. If you’re a fan of the 70’s colorful design aesthetic but still want your home to look mature, all of these pieces are right for you. Adding a monotone dark piece of furniture works great for separating colors, such as this bed frame or metal black end table. Or, if you struggle with incorporating darker colors into a lighter scheme, this lamp and ceramic bowl look great together on a lighter structure such as the glass coffee table. The black sofa and polycarbonate bar stool chairs with gold trim together remind me of something I’d see in “Architectural Digest: A Modern Look.”
